Gregory L. Hoover
When hate pundit Glenn Beck
smeared 9/11 truth activists
by blaming them for the murder
of US Holocaust Memorial Museum guard Stephen Johns
by white supremicist James W. von Brunn,
Gregory Hoover saw an opportunity.
Representing himself as a paralegal,
the well-spoken aspiring litigant began to canvas
9/11 activist groups for support,
claiming that he would file
a class-action defamation lawsuit against Glenn Beck
on behalf of those activists.
Hoover, having spent 12 years in prison
for multiple felony convictions,
didn't waste any time implementing his plan:
within two days of the slanderous broadcast
he had contacted activists and elicited
posts on their websites publicizing his ostensible intentions.

June 12, 2009
An East Coast 9/11 truth activist is preparing to file a defamation lawsuit
against TV / radio personality, Glenn Beck, the producers of the Glenn Beck
Program, and the Fox News Channel.
Specifically, Greg Hoover will be suing the above-described defendants
in Federal Court for Beck's having repeatedly broadcast statements
characterizing those who question the government's official version
of the events of 9/11 as, "anarchists," "terrorists" and as persons denying
the Holocaust.
The complaint will note that - on October 22, 2007 -
Beck suggested that those identifying themselves as associated with
the 9/11 truth movement are "dangerous"
"anarchists" who deny the Holocaust, and are "the kind of group
that Timothy McVeigh would come from."
The suit will also note that during Beck's June 10th broadcast
Beck linked the murder of the Washington D.C. holocaust museum
guard with "9/11 truthers."
As I have previously written,
suing people for defamation who falsely claim
that 9/11 activists are terrorists could be a good way to stand up to these
bullies.
Hoover told me by email:
Copies of my actual initial filings
will be available for media distribution
within the upcoming week...
I do so having now cast off all other personal concerns.
Having chosen sides... I'll stand with the patriots.
Godspeed, Mr. Hoover.
I will update this post with links to Mr. Hoover's complaint
as soon as it is available.
Note: Mr. Hoover has not requested either legal
or financial assistance.
However, if you are an attorney experienced in defamation claims,
please let me know, and I'll pass on your name.

(This was a repost on 911Truth.org,
an organization that declined to post Hoover's appeals for support.)
Four days later, Hoover promoted his purported lawsuit
to a much wider audience in
an interview by Alex Jones.
When Hoover contacted one activist group with a large membership,
its representative queried him on the factual claims about the attack
that would be contained in his purported lawsuit.
In the ensuing e-mail dialog,
Hoover raised the representative's suspicions
when he praised the work of
"CIT"
as credible.

The CIT video I sent is only about 5 minutes long
and included video interviews of the witnesses -
that's the sort of crediobilty [sic] I need.
Not just supposed written statements available on the web.
How likely is it that six of the witnesses who saw the impact
were all working for USA TODAY and were ALL 30 minutes late
for work driving separate cars from separate points of departure
and coincidentally all came together exactly in a 1/4 mile section
of the highway at the time the plane hit? Not very likely.
But once those eyewitnesses gave their statements,
they (the cover-up experts) never expected people
to be revisiting them digging to susbsntiate the true of the claims.
They figured, we'l be to busy going after the bogieman (Bin Laden)
to have the interest to pick apart these otherwise seemingly trivial
supportive accounts.
I'm still undecided as to the plane/no-plane issue,
but you have to agree that something is very suspicious
about this list of witnesses.

The representative remained unwilling to forward Hoover's
request for support to the group's membership
even when he quickly changed his positions,
and agreed to drop the "no-planes" claims.
In mid-July, the activist-trashing site Screw Loose Change
exposed Hoover's criminal record, documentation of which can be found
on the website of the Florida Department of Corrections:
